Chemstation Chesapeake grows

Early 2019 brought several organizational additions and changes to accommodate Chemstation Chesapeake’s thriving growth as an environmentally focused, veteran-founded, women-led, and minority-owned enterprise based in southern Baltimore City. The following announcement outlines the changes that have been made to ensure optimal customer service and premier technical expertise in all aspects of the companies operations in house and in the field.
Patrick Gormley has been promoted to Vice President of Business Operations from his role as Business Manager. Patrick has been with the companies since 2007. He brings 12 years of experience in the chemical distribution industry to his new role as well as his academic background in Chemical Engineering.
Terry Klugh, who was also a Sales Manager was promoted to Vice President of Sales. Terry has been with Maryland Chemical and Chemstation Chesapeake since starting as an Account Manager in 2004. He brings 15 years of experience in sales leadership in the chemical distribution industry his new role, in addition to his academic background in Biology.
Ralph Ridge also joined our team as the Operations Manager in the first quarter of 2019, Ralph brings a wealth of logistical and operational know how and expertise to his responsibilities ensuring things continue to function smoothly and efficiently from warehouse to deliveries.
Ashley Huber has also been promoted to Customer Solutions Manager the first quarter of 2019
Ashley brings experience from the logistics industry from her time at Cowan Systems, LLC to her new role, and is currently pursuing an Associate of Science Degree from Howard Community College.
Brian Menifee has been hired to fulfill the position of Field Service Engineer at the beginning of the second quarter of 2019. Prior to coming to Maryland Chemical/Chemstation Chesapeake, Brian, a mechanical engineer, worked in wastewater treatment as well as the chemical industry. This new position, which was created to provide optimal customer service and technical expertise in the field to ensure maximum satisfaction and efficiency. This role is the first of its kind in the chemical distribution industry and another example of how Maryland Chemical and Chemstation Chesapeake are dedicated to innovation and always doing more to “‘be there” for their customers.
